I completely relate to all of your discussions about work! I think the way our current society operates makes it so hard for us to have the space for living slowly and simply, but we must try and find pockets of slowness where we can 😊 I often find that choosing to read has to be a choice I actively make!
I completely agree. I struggle with the concept of slow living sometimes as I think I use it as an excuse to be lazy but I like the idea behind it. We're busier and more connected than we've ever been but probably less fulfilled and more lonely than ever too which is really quite sad.
I used to read a lot but I think when it's a big part of your job or your brain is so focused on work stuff through the day it becomes quite difficult to just read for pleasure. But I do really want to do more of it. ☺️
